Well, it took me a while, but I’m back.
My Wolverton co-writer, Terrell, made the switch from writing screenplays to writing novels—and constantly admonished me for not doing the same.
“Screenplays are haikus,” I’d argue. “Novels are epic poems. I can’t do that.”
Well, somehow I finally figured how to do the Gilgamesh.
I’m nearly finished with my first novel, America’s Most Haunted—a supernatural caper about a A charming father-and-daughter team of cat burglars specialize in robbing haunted houses. But someone has been beating them to the punch, taking everything, including the ghosts! It’s now a race to beat the thief to America’s Most Haunted, the heist that nearly killed them decades earlier.
Think Stephen King meets Donald Westlake.
And, because apparently I didn’t learn my lesson about self-publishing from Wolverton, I’m coming back to Kickstarter.
The campaign isn’t live yet, but I wanted to tell the people who helped make our award-winning comic book possible before I announced it to everybody else. If you follow the pre-launch page, Kickstarter will notify you the moment it goes live:

Some of you may know that Terrell passed away a few years ago. This book is dedicated to him, because I know he’d love how totally sick and twisted it is.
I hope you’ll come along for another strange ride.
